Peskio terms of use

  1. Information only. Peskio publishes estimates of tides, weather, sea and fishing or diving conditions for planning. They are not suitable for navigation or for safety decisions — including diving, freediving, sailing, kayaking, rock fishing or crossing to tidal islands. Conditions change quickly and models can be wrong. Always check official sources (national tide tables, marine forecasts, local authorities) and your own judgement.
  2. Estimates, no warranty. Tide times, heights and coefficients, scores, ratings, verdicts, visibility and other figures are Peskio’s model estimates, not official values. They are provided “as is”, without warranty. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from their use.
  3. What is ours. Peskio’s scores, ratings, verdicts, rankings, written content, design and software are Peskio’s work. You may use them for your own, non-commercial purposes, and share individual results with a link to peskio.com. You may not systematically extract, scrape at scale, or republish them as a dataset or service, or use them to build a competing product, without our written permission. Search engines and AI assistants may index and cite pages as our robots.txt allows.
  4. Open data we build on. Peskio’s results are derived from open data, which stays under its own licences and is credited here:
    • Weather and marine forecasts: Open-Meteo (CC BY 4.0) and the national weather services it redistributes.
    • Ocean colour (water clarity): generated using E.U. Copernicus Marine Service information.
    • Tide model: FES2022 (CNES / LEGOS / CLS, distributed by AVISO+); United States: NOAA CO-OPS.
    • Place names: GeoNames (CC BY 4.0).
    • Coastline and coast exposure: © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL 1.0).
    • Seafloor: EMODnet Bathymetry (CC BY 4.0), GEBCO Compilation Group (GEBCO Grid), Institut Cartogràfic i Geològic de Catalunya (CC BY 4.0), and the regional sources credited on the map.
    • Icons: Font Awesome Free (CC BY 4.0).
  5. Assistant integrations. The same terms apply when Peskio is used through an AI assistant. The assistant’s own terms govern your use of the assistant.
